Here's the latest. I was a dummy and rendered out that preview in DV/NTSC so it looks all streched out on the screen. Yet another lesson learned.

I've been delinquent in my modeling. I've fixed some geometry problems on the back, but there's still more to fix on the tail section. The next step is the landing gear, fuel pod, and some more articulation on the cockpit. That will pretty much get the general blocking in done.

Then its on to the hard stuff.

North American P51-D "Mustang"

I have the body roughed out, carving out that distinctive bubble canopy and am about to start on the P-51's other trademark: air cup on the bottom of the fuselage.
